A French student attended the first Academy of Applied Sciences in France in 1937. He was a small boy, with an enormous interest in electronics. After leaving school, he studied electronics at the Technical University of Paris and went on to work for a company making electronic equipment. In 1945 he was able to resume his education. He earned his doctorate in electrical engineering in 1948 and became an Assistant Professor at the University of Paris. Today he is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at the Université de Montréal.
He is also a consultant engineer for companies in Europe and North America who are involved in telecommunications, computer technology, computers, automation, or other fields where electronics play a part.
