Ethel Watts Mumford was born in Philadelphia, PA. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her graduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Pharmacy. Upon graduation she was commissioned as an officer in the Women’s Army Corps Reserve and served for two years on active duty at Fort Lee, Virginia. She served as an officer in the United States Army Reserve during World War II and retired as a Captain
Her first book, Now You See It, is an inspiring story that teaches readers how to use their “inner vision” to find new ways to accomplish their goals. Her latest book, Be Ready Every Day, focuses on how to be prepared for any situation so you can avoid missing opportunities or creating regrets later.
