Erin Pizzey, born in 1943, is a British social worker and activist. She was one of the founders of the first women's shelter, Chiswick Women's Aid, in 1971. She is also the author of The Screaming Woman, a diary about her experiences working for women's shelters. After leaving Chiswick Women's Aid, Pizzey continued to work for women's rights with the Family Crisis Line, which she founded in 1974
The organization provides free telephone counseling services to victims of domestic violence throughout England and Wales.

There are as many violent women as men, but there's a lot of money in hating men, particularly in the United States -- millions of dollars.
