Eric John Mancini was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on January 2, 1944. He is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Moody Blues. He has been awarded five gold discs from the RIAA for his work as a producer and engineer at Columbia Records, as well as two Grammy Awards. In 1996 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as an Engineer/Producer for The Moody Blues. His most notable works include producing The Beatles White Album and producing and engineering Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon, David Bowie's “Heroes,” and Rick Wakeman's The Myths and Legends of King Arthur & The Knights of the Round Table.
