Edward W. Robertson is a writer and popular lecturer on leadership and public speaking. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he received a Purple Heart for injuries incurred in combat in Vietnam
He then served in the U.S. Navy as an officer for six years, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He retired after over twenty years of service to the Department of Defense, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in four technical specialties (Information Systems, Space Command Operations, Command and Control, and Electronic Warfare).
