E. L. Neve (1904 – 1990) was a psychologist and psychotherapist who served as president of the American Psychological Association (APA), and was a pioneer in the field of humanistic psychology. He was president-elect of the APA in 1960, and served as president from 1961 to 1963
His books include: The New Humanistic Psychology (1958), The Human Position (1962), Human Nature and the Human Condition (1967), and Psychology: A Brief Survey (1974).
