Dr. Ron Harris is a leading authority on the mental health of African Americans and has been a pioneer in the development of culturally-sensitive treatment for African Americans. Dr. Harris is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Urban Research and is a Fellow of both the American Psychological Association and the Society of Clinical Psychology. In addition to his work as an educator, he also serves as Vice President for Academic Affairs at Howard University's School of Medicine, Professor Emeritus at Howard University, and Adjunct Professor at George Mason University.
