David Brendan Hopes is the youngest son of author and motivational speaker Larry Hopes, and was born in Cambridge, England. He grew up in a small English village, spending most of his time with his family at the nearby country house. His early years were a happy combination of a close-knit family and a relaxed childhood, until he began to show an interest in writing. His second short story was published when he was 16 years old; it became the cover story for that issue. David then went on to complete studies in Creative Writing at Goldsmiths College in London. Over the years he has written many stories, poems, and essays for various publications.
Most recently he has focused on his career as an international model agent for full-service agencies in New York City.
