Curtis Bill Pepper is the author of over fifty books, including the novels Nobody's Side, Stealing Fire, Stealing Lightning, Stealing Thunder, Stealing Light, The Devil's Divide, and My People Are Gone. His work has been translated into thirty-seven languages. He has published over forty chapbooks of poetry and was awarded the Governor's Award for Literature by the State of North Carolina in 1995. He lives in North Carolina with his wife, Barbara.
