There, he became immersed in the world of government contracting, serving as Director of Procurement for Bradley's Senate office. Craig then spent several years on Wall Street, working for Goldman Sachs Company. There, he gained experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and public finance.
After leaving Wall Street to start his own public affairs firm, Craig served as the President and CEO of The Smedley Corporation (an international non-profit that provides support to 4-H Clubs around the United States), where he built a team that completed more than $500 million in contracts for the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the National Park Service (two agencies he had previously worked with as a contractor). Today, Craig serves as Chairman and Executive Director for VetsPeace Alliance (a non-profit organization providing mentoring to military veterans), which he founded with three other veterans.
