Corrado Ghinamo is an Italian architect and academic. He was born in Florence, Italy. He received his first degree in High School of Architecture in Florence, followed by a Master's degree in Architecture at the University of Florence. He then joined the faculty of the Polytechnic University of Milan, where he founded the Master's Degree Program in Advanced Studies in Architecture
He has taught at several universities, among them the University of Florence, where he has been director of graduate studies since 1989. Since 2002 he has been professor of high-rise structures at Politecnico di Milano.
