C.J. Ellisson has been a professional writer since her undergraduate days at Brigham Young University, where she was a member of the national "Top 10" honors list in creative writing. Since then, she has written for a variety of publications, from Romantic Times to American Composers Forum. She is also a co-founder of the International Thriller Writers and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize three times
In 2008, she won a Golden Quill award for her short story "Shoot Me," which is published in the anthology Killed By Love: A Shocker Anthology . She lives in Utah with her husband and two children.
