Christopher West has been teaching in the United States since 1982. He is currently professor of New Testament at Asbury Theological Seminary, the largest seminary in the United States. He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge in England, and served as Fulbright scholar at Cambridge University. Besides teaching at Asbury, he also teaches internationally for the Institute on Religion and Democracy (IRD), which is an organization founded by Pat Buchanan
He is also a frequent speaker at the annual White House Conference on Religion and International Affairs.
