Chloe M. Gooden, author of the best-selling "What Happens Next" series, is a native Texan currently living in Austin with her husband and two sons. She grew up in a small town in East Texas and graduated from high school there. After moving to Austin she went on to attend Texas State University where she majored in creative writing, minored in Spanish, and took care of a baby named Sage.
