Chikamso C. Efobi (Pidgin: Chikamso C. Efobi) (Igbo: 21 September, 1946 - 23 February, 2008) was a Nigerian author and playwright.
Efobi's works include the political satire Ika Agba (English: "The Good Wife"), and the historical fiction epic Igbo Ukwu (English: "Ibo Ukwu: The Ibo and the Slave Trade").
Born in Enugu, he attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he studied for a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and later went on to the University of Ife to study for a Master's degree in Dramatic Arts. His works were intended to be satirical in nature and sometimes even critical of the Nigerian government and its officials.
