Carol Emshwiller is the author of many award-winning books for children and teens, including The Lives of Christopher Fry, The Lives of Philip Roth, and The Lives of the Muses, which won the Newbery Medal. She has also written for adults, including The Secret Life of Trees and The Secret Life of Puppets.
