Carl R. Trueman is president of North American Mission Board, an executive committee member of the International Mission Board, and an adjunct professor at Wheaton College in the Chicago area. He is the author of several books including The Gracious Calling: Rediscovering the Authentic Life for God's Sake. Trueman has served as president of both the Evangelical Theological Society and the Evangelical Theological Society in Africa. He has also received honorary doctorate degrees from Valparaiso University, Midway College, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
