Bernhard Langer is one of the greatest golfers of all time. He has won 12 major tournaments around the world, including three Masters, two US Opens, three PGA Championships and two British Opens. He is one of only four players to have won both The Open Championship (three times) and the US Open (twice). He has also won the Vardon Trophy for lowest scoring average in major championships
With six major victories, he is also one of only eight players to have won majors on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. In 2009 Langer became the first golfer to win five World Golf Championships in a single year.
