Aron Ralston is an American rock climber and author. He is best known for his memoir, "127 Hours: A True Story of Survival". Ralston was climbing in the Blue John Canyon in Utah when a boulder crushed his right arm and trapped him under its weight. The story was turned into a National Geographic Channel documentary and later a motion picture
The film broke box office records when it was released in theaters and on video in 2010. His book, "Between a Rock and a Hard Place", was published in 2011.
