The band's debut album "Whatever People Say I Am (That's What I'm Not)" was released on 8 July 2006 to critical acclaim, selling over 500,000 copies in its first week of release. Their second album, "Favourite Worst Nightmare" was released on 5 April 2009 to widespread critical acclaim. The band's third studio album "Humbug" (2012) was released to generally positive reviews.
