Anthony Lewis is a leading legal journalist and author of more than 30 books. He has been a staff writer for The New York Times since 1967, where he continues to write a column, "Notes for Lawyers," which is edited by the Times's executive editor. Lewis became one of the first reporters to cover the Watergate scandal, and he won the 1973 Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of President Richard Nixon. He was later named to Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
