Anna Paszkiewicz, born in 1954 in Warsaw, Poland, is a contemporary Polish writer. Her first novel “W opłakiwanie” (“At the Funeral of the Unknown Soldier”) came out in 1982. Today she is one of the most popular Polish novelists. She has written several novels and novellas and has edited several collections of short stories and essays
