Andrea Arnold is an English film director, screenwriter, producer, and actress. She is best known for her debut feature film Fish Tank (2005) which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Her second feature, Wuthering Heights (2011), was nominated for Best British Independent Film at the 2011 BAFTA Awards, and was awarded Best British Independent Film at the 2011 London Film Critics Circle Awards.
