Anas Khan is the author of the novel The Last Kite Runner. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian and Sunday Times and other publications. He graduated from the University of Oxford and completed an MSc at University College London. It won the RNA/RCS Children's Book Award as well as the Prix de Flore, as well as being shortlisted for the Booker Prize. His second novel, A Thousand Splendid Suns, was published by Bloomsbury in April 2012, and won the Wellcome Trust Book Prize for Medical Writing. His third novel, The Reluctant Fundamentalist: A Novel of Intrigue and Romance set in Pakistan was published by Bloomsbury in May 2013 and won the Costa Book of the Year Award 2013.
He is currently working on a fourth novel.
