An Wang is an award-winning author of novels, short stories, and nonfiction. The recipient of the PEN USA Literary Award for Poetry, Wang's work has been published in The Best American Poetry, The Pushcart Prize Anthology, Best Women's Fiction 2006, and several other anthologies. He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Columbia University and teaches at Columbia University's MFA Program in Creative Writing.
