Amal Sagheer was born in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia where she graduated from college with a degree in English literature. She has worked as a journalist and television host for various Arab satellite channels such as Arab Music Channel and Arab News Network. She has worked with her husband, the late Eyad Al-Sagheer, in founding Al-Sahafa Media Group. They have produced documentaries, dramas and feature films
Amal is also a published author and has published two novels: The Path to Happiness and The Crossroads of Love and Hate in addition to several non-fiction books on the subjects of women’s rights and humanitarian work.
