Allison Williams is an actress who was born in the U.S. state of Maryland. She is best known for playing Marnie Michaels on the HBO comedy series Girls (2012–present). Williams graduated from The Professional Children's School in New York City and attended Yale School of Drama, graduating in 2010.
Williams has appeared in the films "Margin Call" (2011), "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" (2012), "Safety Not Guaranteed (2012)", and "Don Jon" (2013).

She lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband, Jon Lajoie, a writer and director who has worked with Lena Dunham and Lena's mother Laurie Simmons on his series Girls. They have one child together, daughter Dorothy Lajoie Williams, born December 11th 2016.
