A self-made man with a love for reading, Adam Christing grew up in the beach community of San Clemente, California. He graduated from Stanford University with a degree in English literature and linguistics, and subsequently earned his law degree from the University of Southern California. While in law school, he read numerous books on writing and began to write his first novel. He is the author of over twenty novels, including the "A Good Hiding Place" series
