Abby Shanley is a writer and director, and has taught at NYU, University of Iowa and The New School. Her films have screened in over twenty countries including the U.S., Italy, Croatia, Poland, Israel and South Korea. She has written and directed four films: "Beast" (National Film Board of Canada), "A Rabbinic Family" (Sundance Film Festival), "The World According to Nellie" (Sundance Film Festival) and "City of Love" (Sundance Film Festival).
