Unfortunately, this is not the case for most people. We are taught that it’s better not to love ourselves than to love ourselves too much. And so we keep holding back from ourselves, keeping ourselves at a distance because we’re afraid of how people will think or feel about us.
But there’s nothing wrong with loving yourself too much!
There is nothing wrong with loving yourself more than you love anyone else in this world. There is nothing wrong with being your own best friend or your own worst enemy because that is who you are. There is nothing wrong with loving yourself enough to allow yourself the freedom to be who you really are.
And there’s nothing wrong with loving yourself unconditionally because that is who you are by nature.
Fear comes from our inability to see our true potential and accept that we can grow and change into something better than we were before; that we can become more connected and connected with others if we let go of what no longer serves us and know that we don’t need anyone else but ourselves as long as we have the courage and strength within us to make it through this life on our terms and on our timetable; on our terms; on our timetable; on our terms; on our timetable…
