When you think about what you say or do, look at how you are treating others. What are you saying to them? How are you treating them? Are you shouting? Is your tone sarcastic? How are you approaching them? When you take the time to listen without interrupting, when you smile, when you let people know they matter, this is what makes them feel loved and cared about. Another great way to make people feel loved is by expressing respect for their opinions.
Unfortunately, not everyone agrees with each other on everything, so showing respect includes accepting their differences while still maintaining a positive connection.
