Sita is a Hindu goddess, wife of Lord Rama and mother of his twin sons Lava and Kusha. She is sometimes called "the great goddess" and "the goddess of fertility". Sita is also seen as an incarnation of the feminine divine, and she is worshipped in Shaktism, the worship of the Divine Feminine. Many stories about Sita are found in the Hindu epic Ramayana.
