People who say they don't have time to read simply don't want to.

Julie Rugg
About This Quote

Time is something we all have. It’s not something we can just stop using. We all have the same amount of time each day. We all have to do something with it.

But some people don’t want to use their time wisely and think they can stay on the couch and watch TV or play video games and read at the same time. These people say they don’t have time to read. They think that reading is a waste of time and that reading is for losers who aren't as successful as them.

These people think that reading is for old people and that reading is for poor people, they don’t think anyone would want to read about them or their life. People who say they don’t have time to read simply don't want to read.
