As soon as you are put in the situation of danger, heart rate increases, adrenaline begins to flow through your body, and blood begins to leave your extremities. This causes your body temperature to rise. If you are not able to get out of the situation, your body will continue to increase its temperature even more until it reaches fatal levels.
