It was amazing how many books one could fit into a room, assuming one didn't want to move around very much.

About This Quote

This is a very true statement. People often say that my house is a library, and I agree. In fact, I have about 50 bookshelves in my living room, as well as many more bookcases in all of the other rooms of my house. Before I started this project, my living room was literally a study, used solely for storage.

That is what my living room has now become. It is a place where friends can come over and see all of the books I have read and the topics I have written about. Rather than letting the books pile up on shelves, they are now literally lying around on tables and chairs.

I have found that having them out in the open makes it easier to find what you want so you don’t have to keep going back and forth to the bookcase to find something. It is also great for random conversations with friends because you can be surrounded by books on literally any topic from history to memoirs to novels to biographies to business strategies to science fiction.
