About This Quote

As a father, I am very passionate about the way our society treats children. Children are often used as pawns in political battles. Policies are made to benefit children at the expense of the adult population. For example, many don’t believe that kids should have access to cigarettes.

While it is true that children will suffer if they do smoke, the benefits of allowing them to be exposed to cigarettes are far greater than the risks. Sometimes adults are so self-absorbed that they lose sight of what is right for everyone. Children are more likely to be harmed by losing access to something than being harmed by smoking it themselves.
