I remember this feeling of loneliness and despair, the feeling that life was not worth living. Myself and many others have experienced this feeling. It's a feeling of isolation that eats away at you, one that makes you feel like you are the only one suffering out there. What I didn't realize then was that at that time, being alone wasn't so much being alone as being in a state of solitude, where nobody knew who I was, who I was with nor when I'd be home again. You can't live your life anywhere if nobody knows where you are or when you'll be back.
