Telling my story was supposed to be a good thing but it had just made everything worse.

About This Quote

When you tell your story, it should be a good thing that helps other people. However, when you tell other people your story, it makes everything worse. Why? Because telling your story to others will make you feel vulnerable and pressured. You become open and honest with other people and they might not like to hear what you have to say.

This makes them uncomfortable or even angry. The truth can be hard to take in, especially if it doesn’t match what other people think is true.
