And isn't love between two people better than hatred, in this world of violence and mourning? There seemed to me a fragile kindness in their love that survived through this poisonous war. Even though one of them hadn't.

About This Quote

There were so many things to love about this quote. It is so true that love can conquer all. The love between their relationship was so strong it made the war, the hatred, the violence and all of the pain far less significant. Love conquers all. Also, I loved how she ended this quote with showing that even though one loved person had died in this war, there was still love and forgiveness despite the loss.
