They set about making people so unhappy and isolated and when they crawl into a hole and pull it in after them, they have the nerve to call homosexuality a 'suicidal lifestyle'. And yet they do this - and deny that any gay or trans person could ever be a 'true' Christian. As if THEY are. Christina Engela
About This Quote

Homosexuality is a sin, but not a suicidal lifestyle. People who have been taught that being gay or transgender is a sin have been taught that there is no reason to live or that life is unbearable. But this kind of thinking is the exact opposite of the truth. The Bible teaches us in Romans 12:9-10: "9 The one who loves another has fulfilled the law. The commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,' and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor.

Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law." In this passage from Romans Paul is talking about what was called the Law of Moses at that time. This Law included ten commandments and was given by God to Moses on Mount Sinai during his 40 day fast. It was intended for all people until the New Testament came along to help us understand how we can live in a way that pleases God rather than our own selfish needs.

That was because at the time when Paul wrote this letter, homosexuality and prostitution were illegal and punishable by death. After Christ rose from the dead, these laws were changed and Christians should take advantage of Christ’s gift of eternal life by helping others understand the truth about homosexuality and other sin so that they won’t find themselves living in unfulfilled lives by trying to be like everyone else instead of following their own hearts and minds. The Gay Christians group on Facebook has written: “When we fail to worship God we will be overcome by our sins—whether we admit it or not —but we don't need to perish because our sins are so awful. We need to get out of our own way and trust that He will save us if we really believe it!”
