This quote is from the book, “The Alchemist,” by Paulo Coelho. The author speaks of the fact that God allows all sorts of people to exist and to exist in all kinds of ways. He also mentions that this said God does so because He loves the world and wants to keep it safe for everyone. We all have our share of terrible people in our lives.

And, even more than that, we all have people who are just plain odd or weird. Sometimes I wonder if God looks at us and thinks, "Who are these idiots? Why do they choose to act like this?" However, maybe He sees the good in us too and knows that we will come around if given time (like through death).
