About This Quote

There is a strange moment in time, after something horrible happens, when you know it's true, but you haven't told anyone yet. This quote is often attributed to psychiatrist Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. She was the one who coined the term "five stages of grief" in her book On Death and Dying. She wrote about the stages of grief when dealing with the death of a loved one or when someone is in severe grief. The stages are denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
