The soul is the part of the human being that is not seen by the physical eyes. The soul can be described as your inner self, your conscience, your heart, your mind or even just your spirit. When it comes to our own soul, we have two things that are important to know. We have the knowledge that we have an immortal soul and that it is eternal.

Because of this knowledge, we can sleep well at night knowing that our soul is safe and always there for us to use in times of need or when we are in need of comfort or guidance. Our second knowledge is the fact that our soul will one day pass away. It is called death because when it happens, one cannot see it with ones eyes but through the knowledge of the soul itself.

The fact of death does not scare us because we know that all souls will meet again after they have passed away and even those who were not so fortunate as to be born as a human being will come back as another human being. It is those who do not believe in God who fear death and those who live their lives doing good deeds for others instead of themselves because they don’t think there is a heaven or a God waiting on them after they die.
