She could spin it between her legs, skip with it, twirl it around her neck and transfer it from one arm to the other. Shelly hooped because she enjoyed it; it calmed her whenever she would have an argument or a bad day at school, and it also allowed her to think. Today, she needed to hoop more than ever. About This Quote

Shelly Hoop, a basketball player from Germany, was out on the court for her team, but while she was checking her team’s score, she saw that her team was down by one point. Shelly took the ball and dribbled it around her waist while keeping a strong hold of it. Then, she saw a little girl out in the stands holding a hoop. Shelly moved the ball from one hand to the other while keeping it in between her legs.

She then threw it up in the air and caught it with her hands while twirling it around her neck and moving it from one arm to another. It seemed like an easy task to do, but Shelly did everything she could to get the ball between her hands and two fingers. Finally, the ball went right into her hands and she fired a shot towards the basket with all of her might and gave them a much needed three points.
