The roots of Self begin in consciousness and cease in awareness. The fourth state of consciousness is one of biophotonic origin. However, it has nothing to do with religious, political or scientific endeavours. It is that which creates governments, religions, sciences and, in our insane world, politics...

About This Quote

"Our roots begin in consciousness and cease in awareness." This quote makes me think of the quote by William Blake: "The heart is the seat of affection and the mind is the seat of reason. The mind is a slave to the heart. Yea, a slave it will remain so as long as we have bodies of clay." The first half of this quote speaks to our essence, which begins in consciousness and ends there as well. What is an existentialist? An existentialist is a person who believes that existence is the only thing that matters. The most important aspects of life are those that can't be expressed or described by words or logic.

In other words, an existentialist thinks that what you do at any given moment in time has more impact on existence than anything else you could do. What's an existentialist? An existentialist is a person who believes that existence is all there is, and that any discussion about meaning, purpose, or human knowledge is pointless. In other words, they think things like "I don't know" and "anything goes" are meaningless statements. It's important to note here that every existentialism doesn't share these views equally.

Some existentialists may believe that there are higher things, such as God or some sort of absolute truth out there which can explain what we're all doing here for no real reason at all. Others may believe that no matter what you do, if it's good enough it's supposed to be accepted whether you're religious or not at all. Still others may not care about religion at all and just want to find meaning in their lives regardless of whether or not they're religious or not at all.

Some people might even argue that it doesn't matter if they choose to believe anything at all because if they don't take things seriously enough they'll never get anywhere anyway. Existentialism & Buddhism Both Buddhism and existentialism stress the importance of meditation, mindfulness, self-awareness, self-determination, self-responsibility and personal responsibility for one's actions. Both philosophies also stress the importance of taking full responsibility for one's actions instead of blaming others for problems one has created for oneself through their actions (for example: karma).
