About This Quote

This message is long overdue. The word "snog" is often used by people who don't know what they are talking about or don't care about the correct use of language. It has become popular because of its simplicity and ease of use, but it shouldn't be used by anyone who wants to seem like they know what they are talking about. Like you, I can recall many occasions during my youth when I wanted to tell someone that I had kissed them.

But how could I do so without sounding like I was suffering from a terminal disease? When talking to my friends, I only ever said osculate. Osculate is Latin for "to kiss."
