Fake it 'till you make it.

Gayle Forman
About This Quote

Fake it 'till you make it means to act like you know what you are doing when you don't. It's usually suggested in situations where the person feels unsure about what to do - like when they are not sure how to act or what to say. Since it is unlikely that someone who is "fake" about acting would actually get anything right, this maxim has no real meaning.
