I have heard this one a few times. I can't say that I have ever seen anyone put their arms in the garbage disposal, but I suppose it is possible. It's not really a bad thing to do, but it is kind of strange. She would have been better off putting her whole body down the garbage disposal so she could die a more dignified death.
