At the end of each day, we all make a list of things we want to do. A list of things we need to do and a list of people we need to call. We think about what we want to accomplish and how we can accomplish them. We think about the things that we need to do and the people that we need to see.

This is not a bad thing. In fact, this is really good. The problem is that we don’t do these things with anyone else.

We don’t ask for help or share our plans with our significant other or our friends so they can help us along the way and see the big picture and meet our expectations for them as well as ourselves. But, if we really want to be successful, we have to take the time and effort to do these things with others. In order for us to measure our life, we need others who will help us measure it as well as keep us accountable for meeting our promises and goals.
