About This Quote

Look around. Game dead, rivers black, land choked with weeds. Skies bleeding, red as blood. For what? Your kind are blind.

You see only the now. Never the will be. But soon you will.

When all is gone, when there are so many monkey-children that you murder for a scrap of land, a drop of clean water, then you will see." Can't remember who said it but it can be applied to any situation where you feel like you're not making progress in your life. "You start with nothing and you end up with nothing." When I see people struggle like they do in the video above I think about how this quote applies to them and their lives. People struggle to make anything work these days, but when they finish they only have themselves to blame for how they turned out. The good thing is that they can change their lives if they really work on themselves and become better people. "What goes up must come down." This is another quote that I hear applied to people all the time in my life.

For some people it's not something that stops them from being successful, but for others it's a reminder of how important it is to keep perspective of your goals in life and not let small setbacks get you down on yourself or stop you from reaching them. This quote reminds me of my childhood when I would hear my mother say this on a daily basis while she was trying to get me to clean my room before she went somewhere else for the day. It was never effective on me because I knew that she wouldn't be there all day and that she would get more frustrated if I didn't clean my room after she left than if I did clean my room every day of her absence because of her frustration over me wasting her time by cleaning without her there telling me to do so.

It was also an effective reminder on how easy it is for things to go wrong in the world today more than ever before because of globalization and technology which makes everything easier these days than ever before in history thanks to us having more access to information than ever before thanks to the Internet. If this is true, then why are these things allowed? "Above all else: Be happy" I remember reading this quote when travelling abroad in Europe and hearing someone say this to someone else in English without any translation. To me it sounded like "Above all: Be happy," but when thinking about what this means I realized that this isn
